this motor is one i'm looking to pick up and was wondering what to prop it for max rpm? like i said balanced and blue printed assembly. ported exaust chest,light flywheel,compression is 140lbs. boysen reeds and rodslots cleaned and widened it is a crome bore and all holes are standard bore. a bobs exaust snout, and low water pickups. i would like it to live a few years of fishing in salt water. motor has 15 hrs. on rebuild. entire motor looks like it just came out of the box. motor was a 1984 2.4 200 the motor will be used for fishing and beating everyone else to the fish!! :D i don't know what the max rpm is i'll guess 8,000 rpm.? it will be mounted on a 1,400 lb hull.totaly loaded will weigh around 2,000 lbs. i was told it was dynoed at 251hp at 75 or 7600rpm's
