Just got my new Extreme Boats Magazine,(I let the subscription expire a year ago but they still send one) and on the cover was an article about Blarney Island. Flipped to the page and there were my friends smiling for the camera!
Not an outboard in the whole article that I could see. You looked good, guys. I like the race duds!!!!! Sparky's article was in there too.

Hardly any lower cost boats/outboard boats in F&PB mag too. I'm letting that subscription run out. They're following the trend toward big block I/O gold chain boats. :mad:

I read the article last night, Balzy was actually interviewed briefly. For an outboard type person, this mag has been a joke since day one. $100,oooplus boats and $80,000 tow rigs aren't the norm in my world. It was still really cool to see some familiar faces in print though.

I'll just mail you the magazine, It would be better in your archives. Be patient, I have a bazillion things going on right now. Did you and Thump go boating Sunday or was it rainy? I went Saturday afternoon with Ontap(Kieth) and Dusty. Love the motor, hate the steering! Ordered Seastar Pro with the Allison cylinder today. Hope to try it out before the ice sets in.

I'll maybe have the new RR runing by next spring (right RP?). Want to do some lower unit testing? I have a new underwater camera we could mount on the cav plate of your boat, I could video the action and Thumper could tow you in? OK, so I drank a half a bottle of Kettle one by now, but really, it might be a blast on the Wolf River.

BIG PS: I heard that Janet Planet is now in official control of the checkerboard ass stream for powder puffs. You need a real drag raser now or she will kick those checkerboards off your hull. AND, again........, usual, It looks like LOSER is returning to "D" Island in something new.

Time for more Kettle One straight up. Mango orange juice doesn't cut it like Sunny D here in china and Jeff "d: Loser makes me worry for next year. I hope he runs Janet in lake racer, but I doubt it.
