thats fast for a flats/BAY boat CC anyday and especially for a 225... nice ####### 71.1 MPH average..... take out the fissin gear and take off the electric troller and she has even more there for all out speed runs as well.... VERRY NICE INDEED
gotta luv a bay boat with a rooster tail. Not to mention you can stop and catch lunch on the way back :)
That's actually a BlueWave. Just titled it Skeeter-Fast for rib'n a few buddies in bass boats.:D
I'd like to find a taller wheel and strip her down for a day, just to see what she'd do. Been talking with HydroTech about some porting and head work. Can't stop now.......
Gonna have to do sump'n about the built in hook,if it's gonna go much faster.

sounds like a blueprint and straighnening of the hull is in order.. and a taller wheel; can be found, and I am sure that you could see most likly near 75 totally empty and without the hook and maybe even more especially with more hp..
I will edit my above post to reflect the CORRECT brand of boat..
I think a 25" T1 would be the prop to try. My fastest now is a worked over 14 1/2" x 23" T1. It's closer to a 24" now with more cup,and turning that to the limiter at times. The 25" T1 is 15 1/8" in dia. I believe.
The hook is only on the strakes and outer chines. Wouldn't think it would take too much work to straighten them out. Anyone know of a shop around Springfield Mo. that blueprints hulls? I could drop the hull off, after hydrotech takes the motor.
I'd have to be more careful running in heavy chop,I've had her stand up on me a few times against wind. You go fast boys are probably use to that, but it surprised me the first time.:D

Now that was cool - good job!
Don't forget the kill switch!!! 70+ in a CC - too damn funny.
Good point, kids don't try this at home without your kill switch!:D
I did happen to have it on for the vid as well as an auto/manual inflatable, but how easy is it to forget. I do quite often,I hate to admit it.
There's definitely a higher pucker factor doing it standing up,makes it feel like a hunerd mph!! It's all good, whether your go'n 50 or 100. It's all 'bout knowing your's is haul'n arss, for what it is.
