Has anyone tried a 3-blade cleaver from Performance Propeller?

I am looking for a cleaver, and there seems to be a lot of them around.

If it's the Performance Propellers in Soddy Daisy Tim and Billy do REAL good work on most all props. I've had Billy work several Cleaver props over the last 5-6 years and have been VERY happy with there performance.

Maybe there are many propellers from "Performance Propeller" out there because there are many shops doing business under the Performance Propeller name.

I thought Performance Propeller was Tim Hackney's outfit, which I guess is the same one you guys are referring to.

Who else is making props under the "Performance Propeller" name?

The Performance Prop I'm familiar with IS Tim Hackney in Soddy Daisy Tenn. I have a 32 cleaver from there and it's an excellent blade.

Yes Tim is the OWNER BUT BILLY EVES (remember Junior Eves)does ALL the SS work.. I own my business but I do not do any of the work( labor)..OK. I believe Jeff Titus in Fl. also calls his shop Perf. Prop. and a few others :D

Has anyone compared them to Mercury, Mazco or Spinelli cleavers?

I Have had nothing but trouble from the work that Tim Hackney/ Performance Propeller did on a pair of Spinelli props that I purchased from Dan Weeden on this board, Performance Props was to install large shaft hubs into the Props, I still don't have props that I feel comfortable using and Now Performance Propeller says they won't warranty their work.
