3 wire kill switch

on the 3 wire kill switch,where do the wires need to go? :confused:

1 wire goes to ground from key harness. another wire which is a normally open contact goes to the black w/yellow stripe wire on the key harness. the third wire (normally closed circuit) is not used to shut the motor off. you can use it to ground a relay for a fuel pump. It will shut the pump off when the lanyard is pulled.


I just assumed you had a merc. not sure about wire colors on other motors
