News flash - BROKEN Lower part of drive shaft - at its thickest part?

Can't get the pinion nut off, it's stuck. Any clues to how we can remove it?

'96 Vindicator lower BTW

How about guesses why or how it broke there?

can ya get to the driveshaft to weld a bolt to it? or drill and tap the driveshaft to install a left handed thread bolt?

split the nut from through the carrier area?

greg moss has probably got the fix on this problem

Just stick a rag in the gear teeth it will bind up and the nut will usually come free.

This is how you do it put A 7/8 inch wrench on the nut put the unit in forward gear and use a pipe wrench on the prop shaft to loosen the nut. Now skip get your email fixed I have been tring to get hold of you.
