Haven't heard results yet, but heard there were about 18 boats in Pro Gas and 9 in SuperStock. Boat count way down no doubt to the fact that so many racers were affected by the hurricanes.
Heard Rich Srnec blew up yesterday so he's done unfortunately. Heard Nick Kaye was having engine problems, but hopefully had them straightened out by the start of the races.....I'll let you know if I hear anything else.

Runs a Triad. Suspect he ran the DRX? Did Wayne Tripp place? No surprise on Bruce Tripp winning Carb. That guy has the carb class dialed in. Any photos yet??

Raceman, DR-20 I think. I think he called it the "dock rocket". The announcer commented that he was running it faster than the designer intended.
M. Dixon (I think?, sorry, bad with names) took second in U. That class was a war of who could survive to the next round. Ray Leech ran a strong first round against his teammate with the V8, but his motor didn't survive.
Can't remember the name, but an OMC powered boat from Havasu City, AZ came in 2nd in pro gas.
This was the first ODB race I've been to in years so I don't know all the names, but there were no accidents. It was a great event. Wish I could go back tomorrow, but my schedule won't permit it.....

Heard Dewitt had the DR-20 today...runs the DRX tomorrow. Not sure what class, but I would imagine it's ProFuel.
Dave Bush came in second in ProGas. Heard it was REALLY close with David Pou.

Wing Nut,
Balzy got some humorous pictures of the DRX. Dewitt launched the boat at a test site close to the races (we were there with Nick Kaye testing his Mirage Quartermaster) and then found that he had forgotten the keys.
Balzy of course was able to snap a few pictures of Dewitt dog paddling in laying across the bow of the DRX to get the keys. I don't think the boat did particularly well and from the rumors I have heard they cannot get the launch consistent. I think over the long term once they get the setup figured out it will be a real contender though.

I have to give Kevin Mumford driver of the Allison award, that guy is just perfect per run,the best part is,he has just one gauge in that petty blue allison, tack thats it....no handy cap auto trim, drives it himself and kicks ass,..... Way to go Mumfords......
