Once in a while the search doesn't work. I don't get any error message. It just acts like it's going to load/loading ("waiting for forums.s&f.com") then says "done" in my status bar. Still on the same page. I have restarted Firefox, restarted my computer but it still acts up. Sometimes I can do one word searches and sometimes I can't. Same with multiple words.

I've never seen this on other forums.

That's not a problem with Scream And Fly - you have Spyware (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spyware) on your machine.

Get Ad-Aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com) to remove it - the home version is free.

Here at work, the computers are all spyware protected. I have tried 8 different computers so far, the search doesn't work on any of them. All I get is the standard "cannot find server" window. Any idea why? Greg??

I'm going to reindex the search tables tonight, which should correct any problems with the search function.

But keep in mind that any redirects you're getting are not caused by this site.

Now I'm not getting any redirects. The browser acts like it's loading, with "waiting for forums.screamandfly.com" in the status bar, then a second later it says "Done". But nothing has happened. The page never turned, the search drop-down still has my keyword in the textbox. This happens about 50% of the time for searches.

But I haven't run spyware killers in a while & I never use anything other than Firefox. I will run a killer & try switching browsers & switching computers to see if that helps.

Anytime I put in more than 3 words in the search it give me an invalid page error.

Been like this for a few days.

Anyone else having any problems with the search feature?
