18' Stratos Modified Tunnel?

i just picked up an 18 ' STRATOS.the hull looks similar to a laser tunnel hull.it is a 1986.does anyone know anything about these?thanks,chris

I've heard that the Stratos bottom is a exact copy of the Laser.

Very similar to a the LtV with a different deck. Stratos laid them up heavier so they aren't as fast. They tend to get waterlogged because they are packed with foam and have weak transoms. They will run with some work and HP.

Hey Fly, how's it going? I assume your boat is back in action. :) Have you ever blueprinted your hull? I was wondering what kind of difference something like that might make to these hulls.
I'm sure you'll find that 5 mph and then some!
