What kind of boat? Here's what I've got on my Allison.

I had a 22 Talon that was nearly impossible for me to re-board let alone the wife and kids. Went with powder coated billet steps from Dana Marine. Did the job perfect. You need to get your transom angle before ordering.

Hey Rick Hows The Boat???
It was awhile back but I believe the 22 Talon was 12 degrees. Most manufacturers are either 12 or 16 degrees (or close to it).
In order to figure transom angle:
Place a carpenters square with the long side (22.5") under the keel or to the outside edge of the hull, parallel with the chine. When the short side (14") comes in contact with the transom, take the measurement between the inside corner of the square and the boat transom. Each 1/4" is equal to 1 degree in transom angle.
I don't have a scanner but Bob Wilkens at Talon Marine (941)355-0710 could fax you the diagram. That's where I got the go-by. They really fit well with the Talon.

These platforms are factory. I've seen the same ones on a couple of other brands of performance boats.

thanks for the ideas guys. the boat is a 24' superboat, i'll have to measure the transom angle. hey lightspeed, hows it goin? the boat has been perfect, the only problem is gas, i've put on about 55 hours since we got her, at that rate i'll have to get another one from ya in a couple years. Rick
