changing outboards

If im changing from a pair of Yamahas to a pair of evinrudes what else would i need to buy except for the engines obviously? I would appreciate if somebody could just give me a quick list of the stuff i would need to get. Thanks alot.

Usually the controls, ignition harness/keyswitch, and possibly some gauges. If you're using external steering brackets, those would need to be changed as well.

I know most of you are pro merc but if anyone can tell me a cheaper way of gettin 600+hp than a pair of v8 evinrudes then ill be glad to listen :confused:

unless yanaha has them out or coming soon, merc 300's are the only other option, but i think Evinrude has 300's out again
