2-stroke oil?????

i used to be into 2-stroke bikes and one question i keep asking myself is can you use a fully syn 2-sroke oil for motorcycles in your outboard.i cant see why,perhaps some views on this or what oil you use would be good,

As long as it meets the min spec of TCW-III.

The reason why you can't use motorcycle oil is primarily that air cooled engines run much hotter than outboards. That results in very different requirements on the oil.

Didn't some motorcycles run TC-W a long, long time ago.

I guess I should have been more specific, :D . I would never buy 2 stroke oil on the internet because there's good stuff (Pennzoil 100% Synthetic) available locally at many WalMarts, that's why we don't have it on the site. :cool:
