I have a question for all the allison experts out there. my father has an '96 xb2002 with a '96 260 efi. His boat has a weird tendency to lift the left side of the boat at a radared speed of 98-100. prop is dah srx 27. not sure about propshaft height i think 1/2 to3/4 above. you cant counter it like you would normally counter chinewalk by putting in a little left hand pressure. the boat justs feels like it wants to fly that left side at exactly that speed every time.any ideas?

have you tried balancing it with some lead shot or something equivalent? This may help it fly straight.

Jeff B had a similar problem when he was running his 2002 really lightly for racing. His would pick up the side at the start and it would not come back down. Ray Neudecker told him to try dropping his engine 1/8" and the problem went away.

thanks for the suggestion about motor height. we gave this some thought. the weight balance would seem obvious but with it being inline seating and one battery per side you would'nt think it would be far off thanks erik
