Outboard weights

anyone know what a Merc 2.4 weighs as opposed to say a 98-99ish 2.5??

Also how do the other o/b's say Evinrude, Johnson,..ect compare in weight with Merc in the 200hp models?

the newer (90's) johnrude loopers are heavier then the mercs and the yamahas are in the same boat as the johnrudes .. you can find out the exact weight of what ever out board you want here:
