What the heck the word "Blog" means. Neither my wife, nor I, can figure it out. Guess we "don't get out much". :D

What the heck the word "Blog" means. Neither my wife, nor I, can figure it out. Guess we "don't get out much". :D

The best way I can describe a blog is basically an online notebook where you can post entries regarding what is on your mind. There can be blogs about anything; like for example a boat blog where you could write about a recent outing you had; and the experience with those who you choose to let read it.

MSN has this new service called MSN Spaces where users can post "blogs" or online messages, it's sort of like a forum I guess where users can reply to the message in the form of "comments"

Does the word or letters in the word actually mean anything? I am just wondering where the word came from.

The name blog is short for "weblog". I wish I knew who the person is who decides these things:confused:
