Anyone out there know of a good transom saver for Merc 300 Pro Max that does not attach to the lower unit?

You can buy one from Bass Pro made by swivel ease for about 70 dollars or make one from pvc like a post on here showed for about 5 bucks like I did, works great and won't rust. Paint it black and it looks good and is super light to keep in boat. Don't know how to post a picture, but give me your e mail and I will. The only thing is it's for the 3 ram trim,it slips over the 2 small ram's. Dont' know how your 300 PM is set up.

Dupe, sent a couple of pictures. I used 1" pvc and 1/2 " for cross over with 1"x1/2" tee's. I also put a 1" cap on motor side. I used old rubber cover mounts that I cut stud off one side for a bumper and drilled the 1" cap and bolted on before glueing. Also fit every thing togrther before glueing and try. Use 4-3/4 center on 1" uprights and 7-3/4 length without cap on uprights.

My PM has one large ram similar to a shock absorber. It's the heavy duty braket with trim motor mounted inside of transom with hydraulic lines running thru transom to hydraulic cylinder underneath the shock absorber.
