If anyone is tired of paying big bucks for NGK BUZHW plugs, go to a Advance Auto parts store and order some!! How does $5.99 sound? Got some the other day!

Jeff I have tried all the parts stores around here. Don't have the one you are talking of. The best I have found is $10.50. I think they must have made a mistake when they sold them to you that cheap.

Barry , I will e-mail you thier phone number and you can call them and I bet you a set of NGK BUZHW plugs they will tell you 5.99! I called them a few days before I had a chance to go down there. The said 5.99, when I got to the store I had them look it up again and they was the same price, $5.99. I thought like you did, this must be wrong, they will send me the wrong plugs, ordered them last saturday and picked them up one day later on a SUNDAY. They was the right plug, and cost $5.99!!

That's unbelievable. Let me know the number too because dealer cost is over $7.00. $5.99 is the retail price for the BUHW, so let me get 'em while I can. Hopefully they won't realize there's a misprint in their books!

Out of curiosity I called our NAPA auto parts store and asked the price on the BUZHW's. Yes I double checked the "Z". Their cost is $5.88. The salesman is a friend and said my cost would be around $6.25 -$6.50. $5.88 is the stores cost FYI.

They are resistor plugs. I have to run these plugs or it messes up the ECU!

As it was explained to me by someone at Mercury the only reason for the Z plug is for frequency interfierence to the Merc diag computer while in use. Ive been running $2.00 pepboy plugs for 2 seasons without any problems. Correct me if IM wrong, or go to Pep Boys. Spark plugs and car wash is about the only things they are good for. Good luck

There is probably a Pep boys in the phone book in your area. The plug is NGK BUHW. Its the plug that has been ran is Hi Perf motors up until the late 90s. Unless someone convinces me that I need to run the other plugs by explaining a reason other then the use of diagnostic equipment I refuse to throw money in the toilet.
