First off can you add a second inline seat behind the center drivers seat in an XR2002 ( ....can you buy the proper mount from Allison or is this done before the deck is put on at the factory)?
Second ... can you still get a windshield from Allison for the XR2002 ?
Third ... how can you tell if an XR2002 is a Comp model or not ... ??

Thanks for your help.
Jeff

I don't know how they mount in an XR02 but Bass Pro Shop and Cabala's have seat mounts. These seat mount's are basically what is in my Ally XB02.

My XR has center steer mounting or side by side with rotating pass seat for skiing I am also having a rear custom made removable bench with matching Allison interior being made, should be done this week,I will post pics when done. There is no need for center steer in this boat once you learn how to drive it, especially with Sea Star pro.

Jeff here's a pic of my sisters comp with factory inline seating. the second seat is mounted just like the first one. you should be able to tell if it's a comp by the weight. this boat weighs 1320 with me (190) in it. that would put the hull in the 550-575 range

Jeff another-the best- sourse for information on the XR-2002 is to call Allison direct. If Bill doesn't know, he will put you on contact with either Nancy or Darris. They will be able to tell you anything about the boat. I'am not sure about the boats after 88' but the 1988 and older comp. boats didn't have the "I" channel support in the transom. Also the windshield for those boats back then was just a small piece that was just in the center area, and didn't look that good in my opinion. I've had mine for 18 years and love it. Let me know if I can help. Mike T. BTW, the ph# for Allison is-(615)983-5920.
