Another question. What's a good water resistant lube to use to lube the jet drive. Also, any suggestions for the u-joint that connects the crankshaft to the jet drive shaft?

Thanks, Mark

Are you talking about the bowl? Some run 90 wt gear lube and some use water proof trailer bearing grease. I have used them all and cannot tell much difference. Water will lube the bushings just fine. After you run it a while water will replace the lube any way. Wen you winterize make sure all the water is out by pumping it full of some lube.

Thanks. I was just wondering what grease to use for the u-joints and shaft lube points.

Just regular wheel bearing grease.

on the pump bearing make sure the grease is EP extreme pressure grease, that is a double roller bearing in there, it goes it's going to be plenty exspensive to fix. Be sure to grease it every ten hours, but not too much as it will fly out everywhere. U - joints grease once a season, as they make the biggest mess. good luck, have fun
