What was it a 24? NO, a 42, FORTY TWO FOOT V hull that recently barrel rolled at a poker run with experienced driver and very experienced throttleman. Jerry says Skaters are dangerous, at100plus says all fast boats are dangerous. Wear your safety gear. God bless those who perished in that accident.

It did. There once was a boat like jerry's, just a little shorter, that flipped while going straight too. Alot of boats are dangerous when they go fast. Jerry's right though, the ones that go the fastest are the most dangerous.

It's usually the person driving the boat, that causes the problem. We had a Skater down here that barrel rolled off of Sea Ilse City. When the investigation was finally released to the public, we found out the guy was way above the legal limit for being drunk!!! :rolleyes: Chuck.

1) I wasnt sure what day that was....so I stayed home.
2)I couldnt find Tanner Park in the fog.
3)I was too drunk to balance my V-bottom on the pad.

5)I lost my 3rd hubcap in the fog... couldnt find it....so I went home.
6) A drunk smashed into me on the way to the ramp & knocked off my last remaining hubcap.....so I said "F" it...& went home.
7)I barrel rolled my v-bottom...spilled my beer...got angry...then went home.
8)My Amsoil dealer went home at 7pm...due to the fog.....so I went home too.
9)I went out at like a quarter to 9....didnt see anybody out there...so I called it a night...& went home.
10)I sold my boat....so I just stayed in. :D

with a trailer - staten island expressway to the BQE to the LIE east to the SOB (135) south to Merrick rd east to Baylawn St. make right to the ramp

When you go over the VN bridge stay on 278 (278 is the BQE Brooklyn Queens Expressway) take this to the 495 LIE (Long Island Expressway) All these are clearly marked. Take LIE to exit 44 south 135 SOB (Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway). Take the 135 south to THE END. The Expressway ends at Merrick Rd. east. Take Merrick Rd. to Copiague to Baylawn ave.

(dont get off rt27 this comes first keep going to 27a) follow 27a a few miles to baylawn and make right. the ramp is at the end of the road on left. Note: when you get on 27a it will be 2 lanes. it will change to 1 lane and then when it goes back to 2 lanes again go about 1 mile on right just after Wendys

The boat rides 100 percent better no banging and trying to hit a wave to jump up on the pad it just gets right up and dosent hit waves on the notch it definatly jarred a couple of backs. Basically just added a 14 in of boat

Thanks for the feedback, that is right yours had the 14" notch. I haven't noticed the waves hitting the notch with the 7" one on my boat, be interesting to run both back to back in the same conditions.

Also be curious to see how (or if) your top speed has changed and what your final motor height setting will end up being.

You also have those large tabs, do you use them much and if so when?

"Bash" you will ride better in chopp without the knotch, but you will loose a couple.... I had the 30' "Super", with the 3 foot knotch...It was fast, but
got sqirly about 75+....The full bottom 30' "Super" tempest, was the best rider.
