Skater 28 - any exeriences?

Hi!

We have got hold of a second hand Skater 28 pleasure version. It has to be rerigged comletey with new interior and steering. We will have two Merc 2.5 EFI Offshore (300hp+ each) in it.

We would be very pleased if you could give us some feedback on

@ handling in rough seas (3-5 footers), quarering, towards and against waves
@ handling towards the wind and with the wind at wot
@ handling av cruising speed 50-60 mph
@ handling in corners

You need to pick up a power boat magazine and look for the speedwear ad. Talk to Dave he races one

28 skater . crusiing is more like 80mph, the 28 im running has 1/5 canopies. and 2.5efi offshores. boat runs top gun in all conditions.seat time is what you need. stay ahead of it.

Workin at my shop, And I had a baby girl 6 mo ago. I sent a lady to the hempstead store to see if your guys can make her a diesel injuctor line for her benz. I know there gonna blow her off but I cant stand her and wanted to get rid of her. Its back orderd from Germany for 3 weeks. Hows the boat anything new on the back of it.

Its either that or run the rough stuff. Those X's dont even come close to the 260's&280's when in flight. Too heavy and not enough response.
