You should have a separate fuel pump already if its like my old V-8 setup.Take the VRO pumps off, there are two.You will need two 1/8 in. NPT pipe plugs to plug the vacuum pulse holes in the block. The fuel lines are the fat ones the oil lines are the smaller of the two. Get a brass T and 3 barb fittings to match the fuel line you have. Its easy to hook it up after you get going. Its also a good idea to replace all of your fuel lines if they are older and starting to dry crack,I had a flake of old fuel line plug the main jet in one carb of a freshly rebuilt motor and smoked a piston.Cost me $1200.Fuel line is cheap.Call me if you need some help. 410-755-6167

wideglide55,
I have a pump, but it is on a momentary toggle switch on the dash,The pump will only run when I hit the toggle.should it run all the time? I just traded for this boat back in feb., still learning on this one! I am going to pull the vro's off tonight. thanks for the info!

Just like the one I had. Wire it to the key switch, that way it only runs when the motor is running.I kept forgetting to turn mine off! Call me later if you can, have to do yard duty right now.Need to talk to you about your gearcase also, what to look out for and how to prevent the same problems I had.

Brad,
How did you make out converting the VRO? I have twin 87' 200 XP Rudes myself on the back of a 26' seahawk... Ive been thinking about converting it since I bought it a few months ago. Does it really make a difference? I figured it lasted this long since 87 how bad can it be... Am I wrong for thinking this way?
