I'm trying to find a link & some info about 13.5 inflatable race (tunnel) boats. I don't need a link about racing, just info on buying one (Coastline, Dux......ect.) Any ideas , HELP ! Thanks, Scott PS....... the inflatable link on S&F doesn't work, already tried.

Scot, I think the web site for Dux is Duxpond or Duck pond. Seebold also had inflatables. I will try to get you some additional numbers.
I know that they are alot of fun. You may also want to call Matt Merten. He had the fastest one that I have seen run. He could at least put you in the right direction. 920 231-2916

There is an x-board member - at least he hasn't posted in months - that raced them and held a position in the governing body if I remember right. Try ceriojet@aol.com. See if he's still around.

mcerio02@twcny.rr.com is his new e-mail handle.
His AOL instant messenger handle is: PIBMike
He's out of the P.I.B. scene, but still has a ton of contacts.

that's a big site. Mike says that you can set up an account to be a Mako dealer, and get one for yourself for under $2,000

I was going to buy another PIB I would stay away from DUX and go with a Ceaser or a Mako.I set up a dealership with Mako one time and its really easy to do.Just email them that you want to sell his product and he will send you a price list and you order by credit card. The only problem is shipping, they come from South Africa and it cost about 600.00 to get them here.As far as motors go the best deal was the Tohatsu 50,it was light and really fast. You could buy them for 2500.00 a couple years ago.Get in touch with Bob Stack at Stackattac@aol.com he is a good guy. Most of the guys that sell and race these boats are in MI.Stay away from the DUX boats.

WOW, thanks for all the info guys ! This gives me some good leads. The Mako dealer sounds like a real good way to go ($2000) because I've been quoted in the $5000 range (retail) for a Mako . Later Scott :D
