OK, all the new ignition / electronics are installed on the 2.4. Lake testing is scheduled for Sunday with merc maniac and all around good dude, "Ducky". If this hasnt cured my 2.4 woes I'm gonna haul it to Cincinati and have Mr. Warby install a turbofan with afterburner. I have learned so much about outboards in persuit of a cure for my 2.4 troubles, but enough is enough. I just want it fixed. Like the rat said, "Keep the cheese, I just want out of the trap". Everyone, wish me luck.
