Just got a new boat 82 checkmate exciter with 150 merc. seems to run good 57mph @6000 with 3 blade prop marked M22.
Just decided to do a compression test. The left bank was 110, 110, 110. The right bank was 90, 91, 92. Im a little concerned. One thing i noticed was that the left head looked really old and coroded like its original. The right side looked like it was a brand new piece really gloss black no pitting. Just wondering if the head is wrong maybe to many cc's or to big of a head gasket? The new looking head is stamped on top with a F. Thanks in advance for any help. Andy
