Please read the whole message before responding. The stripes I need are NOT avaiable at Murray's or Carquest.

I need twin pin striping for a vehicle. TWO stripes, 1/8" EACH, with a 1/16" void between. The only 5/16" stripes I can find are 1/16" stripe, 1/8" void, 1/8" stripe. I DON'T WANT the big stripe & small stripe, I want BOTH stripes to be 1/8" wide with 1/16" in between them, for a total of 5/16" width. Does ANYBODY make these?

The vehicle has ugly gold stripes on it right now, but there's white stripes PAINTED on underneath them! I want to replace the gold stripes with silver. I need twin stripes with one backing, since it would be close to impossible to line up separate 1/8" stripes. Any suggestions?

Also go to your local automotive paint supply store and check on 3M tape.

Stripeman: No good. See here:

Note that the 3/16" has two identical stripes, but the 5/16" are skinny stripe and fat stripe. Same stuff everybody else sells.

PinstriperDepot deals mostly in paint striping equipment and supplies. "Jesse James" style stuff. They have a tape stripe page, but no pictures:

I would assume that their 3M dual-stripe is the same big/small stripes.

The painted-on stripes are 1/8" wide, so the skinny/fat stripes won't work, since the skinny half is 1/16" wide.

Keep 'em coming. Those ugly gold stripes HAD to come from SOMEWHERE...

There is a shop in Phoenix called BEAVER STRIPE - I don't know if they have a website, but you can find them through information.

They have an extensive collection of tapes, and they will custom cut a roll (so you can get whatever stripe/space combination you want). They also have some killer choices for rubrails...

Thanks for the suggestions guys. If anyone has seen the twin 1/8 inchers anywhere, gimme a holler. I'll check with the shop in AZ sometime soon.

I don't know about pinstripes, but I have purchased a few items from GreatLakeSkipper, and it has always worked out fine...

Lots of good stuff there, but nothing the right size and color.
I would settle for:

1/8" or bigger stripe
1/16" gap
1/8" or bigger stripe

As long as it covers the painted stripes underneath. thanks for the replies. Keep'em coming.

Maybe try getting a quote to paint over the original pinstripes It may not be that expensive, and you won't have to spend all the time applying the stickers.
