I had a sidewinder back in 1980 with a 455 Olds/Berkley Jet which only did around 60mph. After years of playing around with 100mph plus high performance outboards, I want to try getting a fast jetboat.

1. What jet drive is the best for obtaining high speeds? Dominator?

2. What older hull is suitable for occassional rough water? I live on Long Island N.Y. where the water gets rough, and there are a lot of larger boats around (no glass lake thats for sure).

3. We have a lot of seeweed here, any new products out in the last few years to help jet boats with this problem? It was a bitch back then

4th and last question- I assume fast JetBoats chine walk like outboards, how do you correct this?

I know a lot of questions, but I appreciate any info.

Rough water? Get one of these......

I just got mine rigged for pleasure use and it is very rugged and you can repair it with old beer cans lol

Seriously very sweet boat

Cheers
