Will the carbs off a v-6 yamaha fit the v-4? I am needing a set of carbs for a 130 and finding alot of v-6. I know like the v-4/v-6 omc will change out but you run into different lenths on the shafts. Any ino would be appreciated.

They can be made to work. If the oil injection is disconnected, no problem. If it is working, you will have to swap out the shafts on two of them to make all work.

the oil will be disabled. What do I need to do to disable the electrical portion? I am making a block off for the pump. And threading/plugging the ports. Thanks.

Wrenchin 2 , There isnt any electrical on my V-4 but the choke solenoid it attaches to the shaft with a o ring. If the carbs you get dont have the linkage the linkage from your V-4 carbs will fit in the V-6 carbs. You will need the lower carb to have the idle adjustment and the roller on the throttle (the one that hits the throttle cam) the upper carb will need the linkage that your choke solenoid hooks to. Hooking up the oil pump linkage and lever only takes a few min.. At first it looks like they wont work but everything interchanges and the 34 V-6 carbs will bolt right on using all the factory parts. Hope this helps Joe R

Disconnect and remove the electrical for the oil injection.
