Hello, I just recently acquired a small 35HP jet pump and motor. I would like to build a small jet boat for my kids to cruise up and down a river at their grandfather's house. Since at times the river can run shallow with several rocks just under the surface I was thinking I should use aluminum vs. wood. If anyone has some advice wood vs. aluminum, and possibly plans for a small jet style boat around 10' long. Please pass along your ideas, or plans. I have been researching this for quite some time and haven't found exactly what I am looking for as of yet. The closest I have found was Glen-L's "Dino Jet" Any assistance you can provide would be appreciated.
