Rigging tube under floor

I got to thinking the other day as I was cutting out stringers on the Viper, has anyone ever glassed in a rigging tube under the floor between the stringers? I think it would be nice and neat to run the throttle cable through a tube under the floor, especially on a centre steer boat.


Has anyone ever tried this?

I installed 2in. tubing down both sponsons of that tunnel boat I had. Worked great. :D
