Saw a Ford GT today... (pics)

Hey.

I was at Advance Auto Parts today and this guy told me that the dealer in town got a Ford GT today. He didn't seem to know what he was talking about in reference to cars in general, but he was right.

Talkin to the guy @ the dealer, list price is 150-something. It sold three months ago for 250k. It arrived this morning and will be gone sometime tomorrow. Crazyness!

I sat in the one that the local Ford dealer had about 4 or 5 months ago. It sold on E Bay for about 230K. There have been a bunch of em in Auto Week for weeks now for 225. I'm thinkin' they're fixin' to drop some.


When I was in the one here the dealer thought he had a pidgeon and gave me the keys and took me through all the details. The engine is real responsive. I'd love to get a chance to drive one, instead of just sittin' in it blippin' the throttle. He wouldn't go get the window sticker but said it was 160+. He said the stripes are about a 6K option. I guess somebody from Merc priced the stripe option for em.:rolleyes:

My Boss has a yellow one. After the control arms came in, the dealer let him help with the installation.
