280 impeller

i just got back from the parts house to pick up a impeller and the lady at the counter said the 3.0 and 2.5 impellers were the same part no.she gave me a 47-43026t 2.i tried mercury parts express and entered my serial no. and it would not come up .i was just wanting to make sure this was the right one before i pulled the lower .i figured 40 hrs it was time to replace .i have been noticing the left side has not been putting out a stream until you cracked the throttle these last few trips.
