Blown my motor up today just wordered if its savable?

hole in front half next to injectors
hole in bottom of No.1 Bore
2x steel liners need replacing
1x conrod bent
2x new pistons required

ive seen some guys have some real serious weld jobs done
its hard to say without really looking at the whole block if its salvagable
and seeing if it is cracked in a high stress area
I by the way am not a welder but i think that the right person could probably fix it....Good luck ...Jay

Jim Ruck in Wisconsin is pretty good at weldin' up grenaded stuff. You said 2 steel sleeves????? So it's been previously sleeved?

I've seen holes @ rucks shop that you could stick your hand thru... picked my stuff up a week later & looked @ the same holed block repaired.. it's simply amaizing what jim can do.... he does ALL our shops work & we've NEVER had a problem.....

Doug Wilke does his welding. I have seen stuff i would have just scrapped at Jim's shop. He said "hell this one ain't bad at all". He can fix ya up.
