I know you guys are used to these posts on Jay,but I gotta say thank you to Jay and the JSRE crew.A while back I bought a 260 drop on that needed some tlc.After pondering on an engine builder for a couple of weeks I chose JSRE due to the fact that Jay cut some heads for me last year and beacuse of the good press here on S and F.
Bottom line---this guy is truly incredible from my first e mail to him to completion of the engine he kept me informed EVERY step of the way.He gave me his recommendations and then let me decide based on my budget what I wanted to do.Jay ended up replacing the crank,bearings,top pinned the pistons and recoated the block.All of this took place in a timely basis and the workmanship was first class.This wasnt the cheapest project but I have what I feel is a new engine built by one of the best in the business.Thanks again Jay for being a honest,professional,caring take pride in what you do person.You would be hard pressed to find a more professional,caring person that also offers you help 24/7.Thanks again Jay,Cathy and everyone at JSRE.


Ps,took the boat out on 6/5/05 the thing runs great,even though I am just in break in.The thing pulls hard and runs flawless.Pics and numbers to follow after breakin!!!!!!!!Rob

I cant say enough about all the help Jay gave me. I went to his shop and watched him cut the pistons, install the intake space, and alot of other things the guy is awesome. He has forgotten more stuff about these motors than most guys know.

My boat will finally be in the water this week cant wait to post the new numbers. Had to have my wiring harness replaced.

Just the little I have run it, its awesome no more shaking, and it revs like crazy.
