hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone could answer my question for me. I have I think its like a 1985 or newer 150 xr2. Its pretty narrow and the clam shell cowling. I want to upgrade to a different cowling but wasnt sure if these alien cowlings fit. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it!!

Hey Glaspy, Bob's machine shop sells them and I beleive Noah at Eagle One (an S&F supporting vendor and member here) also sells them. I am sure either one could help you find one and answer your questions completely. My avatar is a bob's.

Although I don't have specific knowledge of your motor, I don't see why it would not work. Alien are pretty big and fit stuff other cowlings will not.

Make sure if you buy one it comes complete. Some people want to pop a mold off of someone elses and sell it but it does not include the bungees, pan, stainless peice in the bottom of the pad that attaches to the exhaust divider..etc.

yea it will work but it want just snap on, you are going to have to pull the power head and install the bottom pan and reistall the power head, then the top cowling will snap right on. your gonna need some gaskets also. hope this helps. you can find them used in the for sale section on this board also.

You will also need longer studs for the powerhead.

pay the extra money and get a used factory model, you won't regret it.
