Is anyone running a Yamaha 300 on their boat?
I'm thinking of a new boat project and I'm considering the big Yamahas but I have no experience with this brand. The project will be a dual OB setup on a 24' V- hull. (I'm a Merc guy, but I'm not paying the price for dual "X"s and 280s are not the right engine for this rig.)
What is the good and bad of the motor- company?
One good thing for me, is that I can buy the Y-300 at a pretty good discount compared to the Mercs.
