Yamaha carb choke ???

Yamaha Carb Choke ??? A few people on this forum have talked about using some kind of choke sytem on Yamaha carbs that will take the place of the choke plates. Seems like they say said it was a OMC part . Can anyone give some help of what to use ?

Basically, they are using a primer system instead of the chokes. Where the oil injection is gone they just plumb into those fittings. My preference has been a nitrous solinoid for the primer, much more reliable than either the Mercury or Omc primers and wont bleed through when running an electric fuel pump.

I have been using a primer pump from a Yamaha 225 Excel. It does not bleed through with an electric fuel pump either.
