Outlaws Performance Boat Rally - May 4th

Hey guys just wanted to let yall know we will be having another
event on May 4th 02. The event will take place on Lake Murray which is centrally located in South Carolina. We will be meeting at Hollands Landing starting at 7:00am.

All profits from this event will be donated to the Shriners Childrens Hospital in Greenville

Schedule

7AM - 11AM - Registration
11AM - 12PM - Drivers Meeting / Door Prizes
12:30PM - Radar Runs Start / Pictures
Optional Lake Cruise till 2:00pm
6PM - Until - After party at JAWS with a Live Band

 Boat Show- Best Paint, Best Setup, Best Complete Rig, and Most Intimidating Boat
 Awards - Most Improved, Best PWC, Long Haul
 ¼ Mile Speed Runs –Get a Certificate of top speed

 Free Shirts and Participant decals to the first 50 boaters that
register
 State Speed Record attempts - Records will be open to
each model of boat made by all US manufacturers. From
John boats to drag boats, if it floats we have a class for it.
 All boats must put in at Holland’s and register inside JAWS
restaurant for the rally. This is not a race it is a gathering.
You will be required to wear all safety gear if you participate
in the ¼ mile radar runs.
 VP Racing Fuel trucks will be on location for your boating needs

Just talked to Craig at ZZgraffix. He will have their trailer there this year doing custom graphics, airbrushed t-shirts and tags.

Also VP fuels will also have a fuel truck ready with the good stuff.

Guys we had an awesome response to this years event at the Boat Show in Columbia SC. Just at our boothe we gave out almost 5000 fliers.
I spoke to several "retired" racers that still owned their boats. So maybe we'll have a nice display of 40's, 50's and 60's racing stuff.

Just got the Hotel lined up.
Days Inn of Newberry will be our official hotel. The event is appox 15 min from the hotel. Their no is 1-800-329-7466 . Mrs Jane McFate is our contact person. Please mention the outlaws boat rally for the discounted rate of 44.00 to 59.00.

They are located at exit 74 on I-26 & you can see them from the interstate.

They do have a pool but have been asked that yall not use it for testing your boats.

With a little over a month to go, this year's 1st event will be our largest to date. We have boats coming from NJ, FL, TX, KY, GA, VA, WV, AL, PA, AND TN just to name a few. If you're looking for someone to follow down, call me & I'll get you a name and number.

VP Racing Fuels is bringing their fuel truck to the event this year. Mr. Chapman wants to develop a relationship with OPBR that will help us reach our goals. They will have fuel, oil, T-shirts and other logo wear for sale. Please help me to thank them for supporting us.
Buying fuel is optional, you may use pump gas from the local Citgo but Citgo hasn't offered us a check yet…….

Like our events in the past, we will be donating all profit to the Newberry County Shrine Club to be given to the Shriners Children's Hospital in Greenville SC. If you have never been, it is a eye opening experience.
The hospital not only offers the best care for children that have been burned, they also offer treatment for life threatening diseases such as cancer. They also help the parents in any way they can, mentally and emotionally.

I'am planning on attending . Traveling from MD and got room reserved! Is there going to be parking for trailers at the days inn in Newberry? How many boat's are you expecting so far? Thanks Bob

There will be plenty of parking at the days inn.

As far as numbers....BIG....looking to have well over 100 boats.
It's hard to keep a boat count, with everything else thats going on. What kind of boat are you running?

Right now were have a good mix of HP and offshore style.
