Egt Probes On A Omc V8

I just finished up what I hope to be a pretty stout 300 rude and will want to Install EGT probes before I mount the power head, any one out there with V8 experance tell me the best location to Install the probes, want to run one on each bank. On the omc 6 motors I always put the probes in the EX adp but looking at the 8 adp I dont see a good place, all hard to get to.this motor should make some pretty stout hp numbers, 4/0 liter 20 over, I added finger ports and did a bunch of grinding and polishing In the ports and rod slots,145 cranking comp, Is going on a 22 Talon, Any way Racer ,H2O PERF or any body who has done this jump In, pics If you got any, Thanks. Exhaust is not seperated side to side like a 6 its top 4 and bottom 4, you have to instal a tube through the water cavity into the exhaust opening and then the probe.

Al, that sounds like a lot of trouble, any way to install them In the power head like on a 6. Seams like you told me one time could not do this on a bridge port motor.Thanks.
