Scream & Fly was the first online community that I belonged to. While searching for some info on my Checkmate, I recieved more than info, I recieved a sense of belonging to a brotherhood of boaters( something I had not anticipated). This site and Barney's site are still they only places I frequent and I met Barney here.
My computer experiences were always based on business use and I never really thought I'd be invloved in an online community.
The plethora of knowledge still overwhelms me and I know that if I have a question about high performance boating they are people here willing to help.
Thanks to everyone for making this the great place that it is.

Whereas this board is the best without question (Others either don't have the members, very impersonal, no clout or all the above), I think it must always be looked at as an internet board.

You're going to get all types, all responses both good and bad, technically and socially. Just keep that in mind and read/post at your will. Who knows, you might just meet some great friends, I know I have.

I usually only post when there is something on which I have some experience or information (this isn't all that often) or when I am a personal friend of a poster (usually to get in a jab).

But I do come and read often and enjoy the information and comeradery.

I can see a problem. The only people who will read this post AND reply are the 'I both post and read them' lot.
Can't see you getting many 'I don't come here' posts as those dudes aren't here.
