no racing. not officially anyway, i'm sure some guys were racing each other back.

OK, did you guys make any speed runs? Who was King of the river?

not really sure who had the fastest boat there. I would guess the STV MODVP with the drag on it.

he still has his allison. he was putting on a show for all of us standing on the beach.

"Thanks for the tow, Father Steve." That does not sound good at all!! :eek: It was good seeing all you guys and some I've never met before. Never got to see Rock's boat at speed? Jeff ran the other Jeff with the Tradewinds STV on the way out. Coming back in we tied in with Wisconsin Clyde and that great lookin' Hydrostream. Allison prevailed with both. :)

What gearcase ya runnin?
102 with a 28 at 7500 seems odd to me?


I was runnin a 28....was nonworked so it won't spin....saw 93 and change once when I pushed it to 8200......

Otherwise I never saw more than 7200 all day.....:) taking it easy here!!

It was great seeing all you guys again. Also nice to meet some of the new guys. I had a great time but now realize that summer is coming fast and I really want my boat. Time to make some calls. Thanks Father Steve for letting me drive your boat for a while. I hope to see everyone soon. Later, Dave

had fun, Jeff and Clyde, will do better against the Ally next time when everything is tight! oh well, lots of summer to come. good to meet some more of the S&F family.:)

I've been to Kosh once, want to make it this year, there seems to be something going on that weekend every year.

Got my new gas tank in on Mon. thought it wouldn't be done until Tues. but when it was done early I decided to haul a$$ home, left TN at 5:30 am and got home at 7:30 pm. I'll be down again for the Allison run, hopefully I won't be pushing it so much and be able to stop by.

I'm about ten minutes off I-65 between Chicago and Indy. I got plenty of room if ya need a place to stay next time you head south.
