Not to offend any of the fisher folk here but seriously man some of you guys are pretty far out there. I was recently warned "DO NOT RACE THIS GUY HE HAS A 21 TRITON WITH A 250 XS". I explained that my 24 skater with twin 2.5 EFI Offshores was a pretty complete and fast package however, it was insisted that this hull would beat me. Come on guys are you for real. I am assuming that the gauges read MPH and not KPH right??

Yah, most of the bass fishermen out there with there heavy boats think they are fast... Unless your up against an Allison or something similiar, don't worry about it... Let them comment then blow by them and wave politely as you do... There are some fast bass boats out there, but if they are bragging they are probably not all that... True speedsters let their boat and driving do the talking!

Threre are quite a few fishermen on this board, I do at times. Most of the fisher guys here don't own Triton's either tho, and most of the "fisher Botes" here are purdy dam quick.

You shoulda just kindly ignored his warning, and bet real heavily !
I get the same type of comments when I line up on the rope with a heafty v8 V-drive, with me in my "fishn' bote" in the other lane.

Seems like every time I tell someone how fast my Ally goes they reply, My buddy has a Skeeter with a stock 200 that goes that fast. :rolleyes:
