hello all
last year i blew powerhead 99' merc 200 efi and had replaced, since then my motor has not been the same(slower holeshot, slower topend)since ive tried an exaust tuner which really made things worse(no holeshot),had tuner taken out and replaced with stock tuner, had heads done and replaced reeds with boysen(not much improvement)..still engine has not seemed to gain anything from the head modification and reed replacement(seems slowly to pickup speed, not much kick from low-mid range)..anyone have any ideas? engine just doesnt seem to have anything left in her..

the boat is a Basscat P-111,i know what she can do with the proper setup, ive had her going 76.3 gps afew years back, that hasnt been seen in awhile..im still gettin 70mph gps out of her , the rpms are around 58-5900 once she gets going, but its taking awhile to get it there..

i did compression check and one side of engine checks out at looking at back of engine, leftside 120lbs of compression, the other side(right) is 130lbs of compression, compression check was done on cold engine without throttle at wide open..

also noticed there is some white dust around gasket on cilinder heads on leftside,is that signs that maybe head gasket is leaking by? i know the 150,175 and 200 blocks are 2.5L,would the low cc's mean this might be a smaller 150 engine ,is that one of the factors for determining this?

engine block part # 813043R97 serial # QSJG021830S1

On the port head top head bolt closest to the exhuast chest is there a rubber boot with a white wire and a blue stripe that runs around to another one of those little black boxes?
