Hi guys, i'm looking for a new way to jack my motor out further. I currently use shoes. Is there anything that will fit into the tilt min to allow it to be jacked out further?

If you trim much beyond the factory range, you get past the framework the keeps your clamp bracket from flexing, and it might break on you. A much safer bet would be to get a setback that has the added angle you need, or to add enough setback so that you don't need excess trim to accomplish your goal.

a bobs machine shop manual jackplate can be adjusted to help out with positive trim. you just have to rearrange some screws.

Hi again. I'm after something that will allow quite a lot of out trim and mabe just a little height. I want it to be able to tilt the motor to the equilivant of the shallow water drive setting. Will the jacking plate shown do this? I also have a 50hp yamaha, would this be ok for this motor too. Could you tell e what it weighs and also a postage estimate to Sydney Australia. Thanks heaps.
