Got the first one in and installed, ran it in the test tank and it is so quite you need to look at the tack, it idled at 480 rpm as smooth as silk. Will be taking it to the water next week and will post results.

Did you reprogram it for the 'good' oil, or is it still programmed for the 'standard' oil?

Oh heck why dont we put a Motec system with a quad rotor set up on each of the current engines, say 500 apiece?

Great If you know someone that can paint them that would help or I will start looking. I 'm thinking solid blue and I will re-install the emblems.

Thanks again

Ran the engine today, its on a 20.4 that weighs 1940 no fuel/driver. Water was like a sheet of glass. Ran it with a 15.25X30 Bravo 1 and no exhaust holes to see what would happen, it still planned easily. This engine has excellent acceleration especially between 25 and 5500. It pulled the 30 right to the rev limiter and I have no dought for speed it would turn a 32, but the 30 will ski and still run well into the eighties and get it quick. Of course the other boat I drove today REALLY accellerated, but then again it had 1100 plus horsepower, enough to push a full interior 224 beyond 140
