Congratulations! I know you've been looking long and hard. I hope it's everything your imagination is picturing. But out of jealousy, I now have to put you on my enemies list.

Thanks for the nice bon voyage Dave! I am pretty excited. I have always wanted a Euro but didnt want to pay so much for a boat that I use 3 times a month. I got a good deal so that makes it worth it...I hope. LOL

Have a great weekend.

CONGRATS ON THE NEW RIDE, SOUNDS NICE. IT'S ALL FUN AND GAMES UNTILL YOU LINE UP NEXT TO SOMEONE IN THE WATER AND THIS DARKSIDE INSIDE YOU COMES OUT AND CONSUMES YOU FOR THE DISTANCE OF THE RUN AND THEN IT LEAVES UNTILL THE NEXT TIME.LOL THANKS ERIC.

The test boat for evaluation of the tunnel boat software was one of the most good looking boats I have seen.....Would love to have one of those...how do they handle the rough stuff?
Thanks

Thanks for all the well wishing everyone. And Espen...guess what? My boat is Identical to that software test boat, except for the motor. Same color sceme. I hope it looks as good as the photos. My father checked it out and said aside from a few minor scratches, it looks good. We will see in a few days. I am dreading that 2200 mile drive.

Off to bed, leaving early.

Well I got back last night........Geez what a drive! 4400 miles in 5 days of driving. All in all the boat is pretty cool but those photos must be a couple of years old. The boat needs buffing, the throttle and shift cable are gonna need replacement soon, and the steering drag link bushing was worn, things like that. The trailers wheel bearings looked like they were never greased. I was hoping it would just get me home. I had no problems and it towed great. The hull is solid, the upholstery is like new. A little TLC and she'll be ready to rock.

Ducky came over last night and checked it out. He gave it the thumbs up...uh..err..wings up? Merky gets back from vacation tomorrow so I expect him to be drooling all over it. Hey Sid, I'll call ya. You gotta come over and see it dude.

Also, on the way home I had the privilege of meeting Greg Moss.
Great guy, very knowledgeable, and he gave me a new drag link for my steering. What a guy! He confirmed everything I had figured on the motor. 260 block and heads, 14 petal PM front half, Light weight Mercury 2.4 mod vp cowl, 245 intake and carbs. It should scream. :D

Regards to all,
AZH

Alright Marc!!! Finally the type of BOAT you really wanted!

I was sorry to see the stream go, but it was an evil riding beast, it felt as though someone was hitting you in the lower back with a 2X4 in the rough.

the EURO should SCREAM AND FLY on the AZ lakes!!!

I am making a run down to Yuma today to get my Durango, I will give you a call Sat, maybe I can stop by then.

later bud,
