Has anyone run this setup??

What I have a is a 225 promax block. it was rebuilt with top guided pistons and ported by eagle one. it has 260 electronics, brucato PCU and bored out 2.4 air horn. im having problems with it loading up at idle, has any one ever run this setup or have a idea on horsepower numbers and how much would i benefit from a brucato svs or a mad efi setup. thanks

I think I would call Noah since he ported the engine he could give you a better idea if an SVS would be of help on that application. The other question would be how many RPM's are you turning the motor and what type of boat is it on. The SVS is a great system for the right application.
With the proper mods there is no reason that you motor would not be as much HP as a good 260. The steel bore motors can make some big hp if done right. The only disadvantage I have seen with the steel bore motors is that they do not cool as well as a Nickasil motor.
If the motor is sluggish you may have a fuel injection problem. Vacume sensor, vacume lines clogged, fuel pressure regulator etc. Some electrical problems could also cause it to be sluggish.
I would call Noah and talk to him since he would know this motor better than anyone else
