The 2005 Speed Run event is scheduled for Saturday August 20th, 2005 (rain date Sunday the 21st). 1000Ft. speed strip. Full line up of classes (full interior sport boats and drag hulls) Outboards; Recreational Stock, Recreational Modified, Vintage V-4/Inline, 2+Outboard, SuperStock, LakeRacer, Unlimited, Open Fuel. ...also classes for inboards. Registration and Tech open at 10:00am. Speed runs start at 1:00pm. Cash payout & trophies. The infamous Bikini Contest to follow at the conclusion of the speed runs at Sunset Tavern. Located centrally between Chicago, Rockford, Madison, & Milwaukee... near Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Off the corner of Hwy. 26 & Hwy.106, take NorthShore Rd to HighRidge Rd. Nice boat Kurt. ...new power too? The old power ran real strong. Sure hope I can afford to buy gas & oil for my guzzler this year. We need to do a WFO Kosh run this spring before all the summer traffic and the law hits the big puddle. Indianford Dam to Ft. Atkinson or something with about 25 boats on a 70-80mph cruise. Bar-to-bar-to-bar-to-bar to-bar...

I'm ready for Kosh again this year! We'll see if I can give ya a run with the Motion this yaer, Tom. I plan on bringing this time. I had good time last year but it just was'nt the same without the boat. Go to the Illinois river on may 7th. If i can't hitch a ride,I'll sit in the bar all day.
