Smartcraft compatibility question

I have 2001 300x's with the SC1000 system monitor, it was wired with analog tachs. I would like to replace the analog tachs with Smartcraft Tachs. I know I can just add the System link tach and run it off the Harness to the system moniter. My question, is it possible to leave my SC1000 system monitor and add the SC1000 System Tach to give me 2 digital displays? Or would I have to get rid of my SC1000 system monitors if I want the SC1000 System tachs.

I believe all you would have to do is add a junction box and another short harness to link them together.
