ROCK RIVER ROCKFORD IL.

Is anyone out there running on the Rock river in Rockford IL ?
Let's try to hook up.We live on the river,and support performance boating.Have G.P.S. and radar available.

Actually I run on the Rock between Dixon and Sterling. Palleta and Cleinmark have been down to see that stretch. There also is a nice spot for a drag race between the 2 dam's in Rock Falls where they run the roundy round races every year. If they built a better ramp upstream then there would be 2 nice ramps. Unfortunatly R.Falls doesn't really promote the race super well and they could have a lot more people there if they tried harder! Nice spot. Also the park in Rockford would be an awesome site for a drag race!! The city of Rockford has a very strong turnout for their Riverfest with bands and tons of downtown activities. Its the 2nd largest city in the state! Let me know if you want to do some boating or parts swapping etc. There are a few guys in Freeport too BTW.
